JANE: I assume we're keeping generics in here?
JADE: correct! :D
JADE: phernalia registries and its associated indexes and catalogues are instanced to players
JADE: so if a carapace wanted to make a new thing using some of our objects theyd be shit outta luck!
JADE: so were keepin simpler stuff here
JADE: crafting materials one could call them
JADE: its got a bunch of generic or simple or otherwise useful stuff here.
JADE: you can see the stack of cards and some standard unmodified t shirts im sure
JADE: but in the drawers theres also more niche stuff
JADE: like sunflower seeds which wed need to replace every 12 months or so
JADE: because they go bad >_>
JANE: What would those be for anyway?
JADE: growing things! they are seeds after all
JADE: but simpler objects are harder to alchemize using just math
JADE: if i remember correctly sollux knows the math to uncombine stuff from a captcha code
JADE: since it is just raw math after all
JADE: but he doesnt really talk to humans ._.
JADE: anyway something as conceptually simple as an apple is made up of complex pieces!
JADE: theoretically you could break down an apple into a few anatomical pieces
JADE: its skin its fruit its seeds its core its stem etcetera
JADE: even a living being is made of cells.
JADE: and seeds are useful in that!
JADE: you could alchemize an apple that way
JADE: but also on the face of it if you were to alchemize "seeds" with something like an artificial flavor you could put together an apple for real!
JADE: but youd have to grow those seeds just as any other plant
JANE: But wouldn't the apple taste like nothing, because of its alchemical origins?
JADE: well well just have to find out!
JADE: growing plants takes a long time without your fancy shmancy life powers XP
JANE: How are those plants doing anyway?
JADE: well enough! the strawberry vines have started producing fruit already
JANE: Strawberries...
JANE: If it's all the same to you, daylight's burning! As they say, "let's get kicking with some new threads". :B
JADE: who says that?
JANE: Dirk, Roxy, Jake, I could imagine Dave saying it but I don't know him that well.
JADE: but not you
JANE: No, not really.
